When a commission beckons on the sunny coast of Algarve, one does not hesitate, especially not when summoned by the award-winning Interior & Architectural company Kris Turnbull Studios. Based in Belfast, Kris Turnbull and his team carries out projects across Europe and the Middle East, combining architectural craft and bespoke interior design.
This property, located at the edge of the golf course in Quinta do Lago, had undergone a complete overhaul by Turnbull and his team taking it from a somewhat dated home to a state-of-the-art luxury villa. The scope of the project along with the mediatic profile of the Kris Turnbull Studio, compelled BBC One to cover the progress of the project which was shown on the first episode of Beautiful Interior Design, a BBC series following Kris Turnbull on several projects.
I was commissioned early on to shoot the final project and arrived just as the last finishing touches were made. As long day turned into evening, we managed to capture some lovely images of this spectacular project.
